This policy explains how Automated Creative Ltd (“Automated Creative”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on automatedcreative.net, what each one does, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website puts on your device so it can recognise your browser. Similar technologies do comparable things: pixels and tags, which are small pieces of code that report that a page was viewed or an action taken, and local storage, which is data your browser holds on our behalf. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.

Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by companies we use to run this site and our marketing, and those companies may also read them on their own services. The table below says which is which.

How we ask for your consent

The first time you visit, we show a banner asking whether you accept functional, analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing in those three categories is set until you choose to accept it. Strictly necessary cookies are always set, because the site cannot be delivered securely without them, and the law does not require your consent for them.

If you accept, we remember your choice for six months and do not ask again in that period. If you refuse, we remember that too, and we will not ask you again for at least six months.

If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a refusal of analytics and advertising cookies without asking you.

Your choices

You can change your mind at any time, in any of these ways:

• Click “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page on this site. This reopens the panel with your current choices, and you can switch any category on or off.
• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. The help pages for Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox each explain how. Blocking all cookies will stop parts of this site working.
• Opt out at the source: Google explains how to control ads personalisation at myadcenter.google.com and adssettings.google.com, and LinkedIn lets you manage advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account settings.

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and it costs you nothing: refusing non-essential cookies does not limit your access to any part of this site.

The cookies we use

Durations are as documented by each provider on 24 August 2026. Providers change them from time to time; we review this table twice a year.

Who sets these cookies, and where the data goes

The functional and analytics cookies are set by HubSpot Ireland Limited, which provides our website, CRM and email platform, and by Google Ireland Limited, which provides Google Analytics. The advertising cookies are set by Google Ireland Limited and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company.

These providers act on our instructions for the services they provide to us, and in some cases also use the data as controllers in their own right. Google and LinkedIn both do, for ad delivery and measurement. Their own privacy and cookie notices explain that use.

Some of them process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or by standard contractual clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can ask us which safeguard applies to a particular provider by emailing data@automatedcreative.net.

If you are in the United States

Switching off the Advertising category is how you opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and of targeted advertising, under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other state privacy laws. We also honour Global Privacy Control signals automatically. Our Privacy Policy sets out these rights in full.

If you are in Quebec

We ask for your consent before using any cookie that is not strictly necessary to deliver this site, including cookies used for analytics and advertising, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using “Cookie settings”. Our Privacy Policy names the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Automated Creative.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy twice a year and whenever we add or remove a technology that uses cookies. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

Questions and complaints

Email data@automatedcreative.net if you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk/concerns). In Canada it is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (priv.gc.ca), or in Quebec the Commission d’accès à l’information.
